Your privacy, clearly.
A private place to reflect starts with knowing where your information goes.
What this covers
This policy describes the connected 7 Days to Change iPhone and iPad app being prepared for release, and this informational website. Last updated 25 September 2026. The app is not yet available on the App Store. Deckloop Limited is responsible for the app and the information described here.
Saving a coaching goal keeps it on your device. Preparing a personalised course is a separate action: the app shows what will be shared and asks for your agreement first. Your private reflections and listening history are not uploaded.
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@7daystochange.com.
Your data in the app
On your device, the app stores your coaching goal (a habit to build or stop, your reason for change, optional everyday situation and next step), session completion, saved listening position, reflections, reminder settings and introduction preference. Downloaded courses are stored for offline listening. Device and backup settings may include local notes and preferences in backups; downloaded audio is excluded from app backups.
When you agree to prepare a course, we share your goal with Google, our AI writing provider, to write and check your coaching scripts. Generated scripts are also shared with Google for review. Only share details needed for your everyday habit. This is general coaching, not healthcare or crisis support; AI-generated content can make mistakes.
Google does not use this data to train its AI models without our permission or instructions. Google may retain information to prevent misuse and keep temporary copies to provide the service. Retention follows the applicable service terms and settings. Deleting a course in the app does not immediately delete information held by Google. See Google’s data privacy information. Your goal and scripts may be processed outside your country.
Your sessions use generated narration; your microphone is not used and your voice is not recorded. We keep your uploaded goals, scripts and recordings until you delete them.
A random credential in Keychain and verified App Store account identifiers keep your courses private and let you restore courses and unused credits using the same App Store account. We verify Apple’s signed transaction records and retain a credit ledger. Apple handles payment; we do not receive your payment-card details.
The app has no advertising, tracking, analytics SDK or third-party crash-reporting SDK. Technical connection information, including IP addresses, is used transiently to deliver requests and limit abuse. Request bodies, goals and credentials are not written to routine access logs.
Export and deletion
On Home, choose Delete uploaded goals and courses to delete your service account, uploaded goals, generated scripts and audio, and downloaded courses on that device. Service access on linked devices is revoked. If writing or recording is running, the app shows deletion in progress until it stops. Deleted courses cannot be restored.
Minimal non-content purchase and credit records remain to preserve unused credits, reconcile refunds and prevent duplicate delivery. Minimal request and revoked-credential records prevent deleted data from returning. These records do not retain the deleted goal, script or audio. Restoring purchases can recover unused credits, but does not recreate deliberately deleted courses. Information held by Google follows the retention described above.
Disconnect this device in My courses revokes this device’s service credential. It keeps uploaded courses, unused credits and active preparation so you can restore them with the same App Store account. Downloads and notes on the device stay local. Use Delete uploaded courses and account data when you want service-held content deleted.
Removing the app alone does not delete information held by the service. Downloaded copies on other devices, exported files and device backups are separate. Delete uploaded data in the app before removing it, or contact support for help.
Local notes and progress remain until you remove them in Settings or remove the app’s data. Export progress and reflections creates a JSON copy containing your local goal, completion, saved listening position and reflections at a location you choose. Anyone with access to that location may be able to read it. The developer does not automatically receive your export.
Restart progress clears completion and listening position and keeps reflections. Delete reflections keeps listening progress. Delete progress and reflections removes both. These actions require confirmation and keep reminder and introduction settings. The goal editor’s Delete this goal removes only the saved local goal. None of these local controls deletes previously uploaded courses, exports or backups.
Optional reminders
Reminders are scheduled on your device. Notification permission is requested only when you enable them. Notification text is general and does not include reflection text. Turn off Daily reminder in Settings to cancel future reminders.
When you visit this website
This website does not ask you to create an account or provide journal entries. We use optional Google Analytics to understand visits and interest in the upcoming app. We ask for your permission using our cookie banner. Analytics loads and sets cookies only after you choose Accept all or enable Analytics in Cookie settings. Declining does not affect access to this website. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party font services.
If you accept analytics, Google will receive information about the public pages you view, interactions with our app-launch and coaching links, your browser and device, and approximate location derived from your IP address. Analytics cookies distinguish visits. We do not send names, email addresses, habit goals or reflections, and we strip query strings and fragments from measured page addresses. Advertising personalisation is disabled. See Google’s privacy policy.
Use Cookie settings in the footer at any time to accept or decline. We remember your choice in this browser for up to 180 days. Declining later stops future analytics and removes accessible Google Analytics cookies; it does not erase measurements already sent. Browser storage restrictions may mean we ask again. With JavaScript disabled, analytics stays off.
Vercel hosts the website and processes technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested pages and browser information, to deliver and protect it. Website hosting is separate from the app’s on-device storage. See Vercel’s privacy information.
Opening an external link uses your browser and the destination’s privacy practices apply. The app and website do not attach your private reflections to these links.
When you contact us
If you email support, your email address, message and any attachments become available to the support recipient and email service. Send only what is needed to explain the issue; you do not need to share private reflections.
Contact us at support@7daystochange.com with a request about information you previously supplied. The earlier website had separate account and waitlist features. This redesign does not automatically delete those records or transfer them into the iOS app.
